History of Bray Park
Bray Park was named after John Sanders Bray, a former Pine Rivers Shire Councillor on April 1, 1970.
John was a shire Chairman from May 1946 to March 1973. He is the longest serving Chairman of the Shire. His Father established a dairy farm on the Gympie Road which later John Bray took over.
