Bilambil is a small town located in Tweed Shire, northeastern New South Wales, Australia.
Based on the 2011 Census, it states that the population of Bilambil was only 559 people. Fifty percent of these were female and 49.7% of these were male.

The suburb of Bilambil derived its name from “bilang” which is a native she-oak tree Casuarina cunninghamiana. The suffix –bil is plural for a large number of trees. It is because these oaks grew extensively in the creek areas.
